Our Dental Hygienists, Glenda, Teresa, Christina, recently became certified by the Academy of Laser Dentistry. The certification is granted following coursework continuing education and successfully passing a written examination. The entire staff participated in the educational coursework to become proficient in dental laser therapy.

Dental Lasers are useful in a variety of ways in treating patients. Most commonly, dental lasers are used as an aid to treat gum conditions, canker sores and fever blisters, as well as many other conditions. Additionally, many surgical procedures that, in the past, would be treated more aggressively by Dr. Argo, can now be treated more gently and conservatively. Utilizing laser therapy, along with CEREC crowns, Dr. Argo is now able to offer crowns to be completed in a single visit, rather than having a temporary crown made and returning for a second visit to install the crown in the next few weeks. Dental laser therapy is extremely safe and comfortable for patients. Dr. Argo’s office utilizes their laser therapy every day.
